Welcome! My name is Regina Maendler and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 20 years of experience providing support to individuals with learning and behavior challenges in school, clinic, home, residential, and community settings. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. I am currently a doctoral student and adjunct professor with the Institute for Applied Behavioral Science at Endicott College.
I serve learners of all ages and backgrounds with and without formal diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Emotional or Behavioral Disorders, and Intellectual Disability. My services include behavioral and learning assessment, instructional design, data systems and analysis, parent coaching, school consultation, professional development, and BCBA supervision. I have specialized training in precision teaching, the Morningside Model of Generative Instruction, nonlinear contingency analysis (NCA), child development, verbal behavior, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
My approach is humanistic, compassionate, affirming, and constructional, emphasizing person-centered goals, systemic intervention, personalized instruction, natural reinforcement, and data-driven program refinement. I am committed to practicing cultural humility while employing behavior science to improve the human condition within each individual's unique sociocultural context. I aim to serve historically marginalized communities to improve quality of life, achieve equitable outcomes, preserve cultural traditions, and work to solve issues of social injustice.
Throughout my professional journey, I have been fortunate to collaborate with diverse teams of neurodivergent people, educators, clinicians, parents, caregivers, researchers, and scholars. In my leisure time, I prioritize quality time with my family and dog, cooking, practicing yoga, playing the piano, listening to live music, and enjoying nature. I am devoted to lifelong learning and eager for opportunities for personal and professional growth.
